Deb Fan is a Taiwanese, Los Angeles–based artist with a sound that bridges cultures and genres. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Deb is a singer, producer, and classically trained pianist whose work draws inspiration from her traditional Chinese upbringing and her love for American alternative R&B. Her music fuses old-world sentiment with modern sensibility, resulting in a sound that feels both intimate and expansive.

Her musical journey began at age four with classical piano, followed by opera at eight and trumpet at ten, laying a foundation of deep musicality and discipline. Deb went on to earn dual Bachelor’s degrees in Music Production & Engineering and Electronic Production & Design, developing expertise in production, engineering, and sound design.

Professionally, Deb spent three years as a sound designer for electric vehicles, mastering the technical and creative dimensions of audio in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment. Today, she continues to teach piano while pursuing her artistic vision where she crafts music that reflects her multifaceted identity and evolving creative ethos.
